CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES IN THE VIDYALAYA

.	CCA
.	The Vidyalaya promises to provide a valuable foundation in the building up of not only academic excellence but also character an overall growth of the students.Co-curricular activities form an integral part of the school curriculum and a good number of students participate in some activity or the other so as to top their innate potential.
.	ECO CLUB
.	The eco club of the school engages students in various activities like Bird-watching, Polio-Eradication Campaign, HIV-AIDS Awareness Programme, Consumer Awareness, Anti-Crackers Campaign and rain water harvesting etc. Students Of Class VIII participated in different activities of the club with the main objective to spread environmental awareness and to carry out activities related to protection of environment along with maintenance of eco-club garden, tree plantation & growing of flowers, displaying the name platesalong with plants.
.	ADVENTURE ACTIVITIES
.	Students are encouraged to participate in adventure activities like mountaineering, Rockclimbing, Treaking, Parasailing, Kayaking etc.
.	EXCURSIONS
.	The students are taken for educational trips to places like Birla Mandir, Rail Museum and children parks, which help them to learn beyond the classroom.
.	GUIDANCE AND COUNSELLING
.	In an endeavor to help the young minds to understand their strength and weaknesses (potential) and also for deciding their future, career planning workshops are organized from time to time Expert guidance is also available for providing them with requisite know-how of the emerging trends
.	MEDICAL CHECK-UPS
.	Medical Checkup twice a year by qualified doctors is held in the Vidyalaya.The students are administered necessary vaccinations like Hepatitis B with the consent of the parents.
